How long are the assignments?

We provide both short and long term contracts, ranging from four, eight, and thirteen-week assignments. There is always the option to request an assignment extension, as well. We are also able to customize a schedule just for you. Just tell us what works for you.

How do I get started?

Complete the on-line application, or call, or schedule an appointment to come in and meet with a staffing specialist to guide you through the application process. Call our office at (501) 225-5050 or (888)-NCSTAFF, or e-mail us at info@ncstaffing.com to set up an appointment today.

Am I under obligation once I submit my application?

No. We keep your application on file until you say you are ready.

How long will it take to approve my application and get placed?

You could begin your first assignment within one to six weeks. However, most travelers prefer to schedule their assignments four to five months in advance

How do I pick an assignment?

Once we have reviewed your application and skills, we will meet or speak with you to discuss your needs and expectations. You will then be presented with available assignments based upon your preferences and your specialty. We will also give you a complete description of the facility, the area, and your salary. The choice to accept the assignment, or wait for another, is always yours.

Do I have to sign a one-year contract?

No. Your contractual agreement is one assignment at a time, but you always have the option to stay longer if you choose.

What happens after I accept an assignment?

We provide the client with all the information including your start day, unit, shift and related documents. We then set up either a personal or telephone interview between you and the facility. Our specialists are experts at helping you properly prepare for your interview. For your convenience, please refer to the Travel Resources section for interview tips.

Will you have the assignment I'm looking for?

We will almost always have what you're hoping for in a new job and a new location. If we do not, then we make every effort to track down that position for you. We will aggressively package your credentials to local facilities to enhance the search for a job that matches your experience and specifications.

How do I travel to my assignment?

We provide you the maximum travel reimbursement if you drive or choose to fly to your new assignment. Most of our nurses prefer driving in their own car. They like having their car there and the freedom to explore their new surroundings as they wish.

Do you really guarantee the highest pay rates?

Absolutely. Although pay rates can differ geographically, we will match or exceed any higher bid in the geographic area of your assignment. Just show us a signed copy of a competing agency's rate sheet or contract offering.

When and how will I get paid?

You have three options. We can mail your check to you, or deposit it directly into the bank of your choice, or pay you through our unique and convenient system we call CashPay®.

What is CashPay®?

CashPay® is a new and easy way to get your money quickly. You just fax us your time sheet, and your paycheck will be deposited into your CashPay® account during normal business hours. Then you use the convenient CashPay® ATM or Visa® card we provide you to have immediate access to your funds in cash, instantly!

How do I find the licensing requirements for each state?

Your NC STAFFING specialist will provide you with a list of contact information and discuss specific state requirements. Check out the information we provide you in our Travel Resources.

What happens at the end of my assignment?

You can extend your assignment, go to another location, or return home for a break. Again, that choice is yours.
