FEDERAL CONTRACTS NOW AVAILABLE

IN ELEVEN STATES

NC STAFFING has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract for eleven states effective May 1, 2004. The FSS contract provides NC STAFFING the ability to obtain government contracts with health facilities in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New York, Tennessee, Texas and Washington, DC. This will translate to lucrative revenue streams for the company and its nurses since NC STAFFING can now contract directly with any government health facility in any of these states bypassing the need to subcontract with any primary contractor. The company was able to secure this economic opportunity in just eight months of application, screening and processing. This normally rigorous process can actually take up to a year or more. To be awarded with the contract, the company had to prove successful past performance in all aspects of the business such as recruiting, marketing, operations, and finance. The vetting process exists to ensure that accredited companies meet strict government standards for vendors. To date, NC STAFFING has already received inquiries from government agencies for contracts from various states. We are confident this contract will secure unlimited job opportunities for all our Leapfrogs. Corporate leaders and staff are committed to finding and securing growth opportunities for the company and its growing cadre of Leapfrogs.

NC STAFFING RECEIVES 8(a) CERTIFICATION

NC STAFFING has received a highly coveted 8(A) certification from the Small Business Administration (SBA). This certification is awarded to small, women-owned, and minority-owned businesses that meet the SBA's strict qualifying requirements. The certification earned for NC STAFFING the preferred-vendor status not only among government hospitals, but among hospitals in the private sector as well. As with the FSS above, the certification will enable the company to secure new contracts, which in turn will provide wider choices of places to work for our nurses. In addition, it paves the way for NC STAFFING to receive incentives and assistance granted by the SBA to certified companies.

MEMPHIS GOING STRONG, HOUSTON NEXT

NC STAFFING Memphis is going strong after just three months in operation. It has already landed lucrative contracts with healthcare facilities in Tennessee. The branch has also successfully negotiated to become part of a network of vendors within a major healthcare system in Tennessee. NC STAFFING is extremely fortunate to be designated as an accredited vendor only months after it opened its doors in Memphis. From more than a hundred vendors in over five states, we landed in the top twenty. Meanwhile, great plans are definitely underway for the Houston operations. According to NC STAFFING President Ann Adams, "Houston is a major city and represents a huge, potential market. We think we can definitely succeed there as well." So, if any of you "Leapfrogs" know any good nurses in Memphis or Houston, give us a call and you could be on your way to receiving your $300 referral bonus.

COMPANY CHEERS BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS

NC STAFFING held its very first birthday celebration dinner last Thursday, March 18th. The venue of the party was at On the Border Restaurant on Chenal Parkway, Little Rock. The lucky March celebrants who attended were Linda Woods and Rhonda Czeto, who were celebrating their birthdays on March 7 and 8, respectively. NC STAFFING President Ann Adams hosted the party for the March celebrants. Office staff members Kara Huffman and Cielo Monte (also a March birthday celebrant) were also on hand to celebrate the joyous occasion with Rhonda and Linda. Everyone had a great time, laughing and talking the night away as they enjoyed On the Border's Mexican cuisine, famous margaritas and scrumptious desserts. The administrative staff plans to hold birthday dinners every third Thursday of the month, so April celebrants, get ready for another great party! According to Ann Adams, "We intend to do this every month to keep in touch with our nurses, get a chance to relax, and just enjoy each other's company." Linda Woods was quoted as saying, "This is great. You're the only agency that does this for your nurses." To those celebrants who were not able to make it, we missed you and you missed a great party!

WHY DO WE CALL OUR NURSES "LEAPFROGS?"

NC STAFFING is calling its elite team of nurses and healthcare professionals "Leapfrogs." On the move. Energetic. Highly motivated. And a leap above the others. In our brochures, which will be coming out soon, "Leapfrogs" figure prominently. They symbolize not just our nurses but in a sense, the entire company as well. Why did we choose "Leapfrogs?" Well, "Leapfrogs" have been known to jump more than twenty times their length! This means that they exceed their potential and all expectations in going where they need to go! Kind of like us, right? In the short time that NC STAFFING has been in existence, it has exceeded all expectations and has grown to unexpected levels. It therefore seemed appropriate that these "Leapfrogs" symbolize our nurses and our company.

COMPANY USES CUTTING-EDGE

SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY

Our company is truly committed to technology and innovation. We are proud to announce that we now use one of the most advanced staffing software in the market today. The software is feature-rich, intuitive, and fully integrated. It allows us to completely automate our staffing processes. As a result we can quickly and efficiently match your skills and availability with the needs of requesting hospitals. Payroll and invoicing are also fully integrated in the system. The system allows you and the facilities to check schedules and availabilities online. Confirmed schedules are sent to you and the facilities via e-mail instantaneously. If you need directions to get to the facility, it will send you a map and detailed driving directions. What do all these features mean to you? It simply means that matching is done efficiently and quickly, which in turn translates into more jobs and more money for you! We think the new software investment is well worth the expense because we think the convenience will keep you happy and hassle-free!
